01/16/22 Update:  We are now booking for the MLK holiday weekend and will be open Monday, 1/17/22.

Starting 01/03/22, the tubing hill will operate on weekends, holidays, select Friday nights, and private sessions for the remainder of the 2021-2022 season.  Reservations for snowtubing times may be booked from 10 AM to 8 PM on Wednesdays through Sundays.  Our phones are extremely busy and we do not have capacity to return messages, texts, or emails requesting a call back for snowtubing reservations on public sessions.

Sessions for most weekends are 10-12, 12-1:30, 1:30-3:00, & 3-4:30.  A 4:30-6 PM session may be added when we are presented with a single reservation of at least 20 tubers.

New pricing, sign-up procedures, group packages and limitations due to the Covid-19 pandemic have been updated.  These changes will supersede all previous policies.   Please understand that the changes are intended to improve the safety of our operation for both our guests and our employees.

Our general operating schedule for the 2020-2021 season is posted below.  Credit card and debit pricing for a session is $22.75 per ticket.  Tickets are discounted to $20 each with cash payment.  The Friends and Family Package may now be booked for sessions starting 5 PM on weekdays and after 6 PM on weekends and holidays.  Call 509-238-9114 to make credit card guaranteed reservations (to assure space availability) or book group events outside the posted times for public sessions.  WE DO NOT BOOK SNOWTUBING TICKETS ONLINE (just the telephone).

General Snow Tubing Information

Advance reservations are suggested, particularly during Christmas break and holiday weekends.  We cap the number of guests on the tubing hill at 65 - 70 per session, so "unscheduled extras" in your group may be waiting for the next available session.  We do not "share tubes" between multiple participants (so please do not ask).

Snow tubing tickets are $20 (cash) or $22.75 (credit or debit card) per person for a 1½ hour session.  The cost of the ticket includes the use of our snow tubes and rope tow.  Children and adults are the same price due to the operating restrictions caused by Covid-19.  Children under 42 inches tall must ride with a paid adult.  Starting times for public sessions, as well as additional snow tubing information, are discussed below.  Private group sessions and private birthday sessions (outside our normal operating times) may be are available using the Friends and Family Package.

Reservations are easy to make. Call the lodge and give your last name, telephone number, the number in your party and a credit card guarantee.  Please have your credit card ready and available at the time that you call the lodge to make the reservation.  Reservations held or booked by credit card indicates acceptance of all terms and conditions posted on this website.

We reserve the option to process Visa, MC & debit transactions at the time of booking.  Reservations may not be decreased or have the session time changed once booked.  There is only one exception to this policy (see next paragraph).
Unused, previous season reservation certificate(s) are no longer valid.  They had to be used during the season in which they were issued.  The old certificates have no cash value.

IMPORTANT  CHANGE  FOR THE  2021/2022  SEASON:  The lodge will allow a reservation of ten or more to be reduced by one guest if contacted at least 48 hours in advance.  If a reservation is cancelled or headcounts are reduced with less than 48 hours advance notice, your credit card will be immediately charged for the total number reserved.

Private tubes, sleds, sliding devices, snowboards, skis, and other similar equipment are not allowed anywhere on property owned and operated by Bear Creek Lodge.  We are strictly a snow tubing operation.

The first session of the day is designated “Early Bird” and is highly recommended for small groups, birthday parties, and young children. The 10 AM - Noon and 6 - 8 PM sessions (when available) are considered "value sessions" as they each have an extra half hour of snowtubing.

Registration will be downstairs in the Mountain Store until further notice.  Sign-in begins 45 minutes prior to the start of the session.  To speed up registration, we suggest that you download and properly fill out the Liability Release Form prior to arrival.  To limit the possibility of Covid-19 exposure during registration, individual payments on a reservation for 2 or more must be presented by just one person. The individual presenting final payment assumes all liability that the information presented on the Liability Release Form is true and correctly filled out.

The 4 - 6 PM and 6 - 8 PM sessions are an excellent time for large groups to book private time on the tubing hill.  Groups - up to 70 guests - may reserve this time slot for a flat rate of $1300 + tax (or consider our nonprivate Family & Friends Package).  A single payment is required for all group pricing.  Catering for group events includes chili and cornbread, a pasta feed, or ribs & chicken.  These are the only group catering menu options offered during the 2021 - 2022 season.

We "book out" most sessions, so plan to pay for all of  the number of reservations held against your credit card.  If you show up with fewer people than your reservation, your card will be charged for the number reserved, not the number present at the time of arrival.   Weather conditions, "colds", sports/work/family conflicts, etc. are not reasons to cancel existing reservations.  If our guys can work in it, you can tube in it...   "Covid" cancellations will be billed out and issued gift certificates that are valid after the President's Day holiday weekend.  This is the same policy as last year.

"No shows" will be charged the full amount of their reservation.  Presentation of your credit card number via phone or otherwise guarantees the purchase of the designated snow tubing session, as well as authorization to charge your card.  Disputes regarding the number of tubers present through the credit card issuer will result in an additional $100 surcharge.  Plan to arrive at least forty-five minutes before your start time to fill out liability release forms and make payment.  Late arrivals pay the same price as those receiving their full, allotted time.  Please be aware that reservations not picked up within thirty minutes of the start of any scheduled session may be released to walk-up customers without reimbursement.

Click here to download a Liability Release Form.  Parents or guardians must sign for each under age participant listed on the form.  Each participant must be listed on a separate line with the parent's or guardian's signature and date clearly written to the right of each entry.  Do not sign across the lines to indicate responsibility for multiple under age participants.  Incomplete or improperly filled out forms may delay access to the snow tubing hill.

Birthday parties are welcome on the tubing hill.  Masks are required for all persons entering the lodge.  This includes "trips to the bathroom".

No outside food or drinks - even commercially prepared birthday cakes - are allowed in the lodge at this time.  Non-tubing guests may wait inside the lodge with mask on or wait in their vehicle to reduce possible indoor exposure to Covid.

Please call the lodge at 509-238-9114 to confirm session times and make snow tubing reservations.

Thanks again for supporting Bear Creek Lodge!
